Undertaking a full debt book analysis and operational review resulting in new business insight, creation of a prioritised road map and change programme which was fully funded by a Working Capital and Revenue Assurance benefit case.

2.

Developing a sales strategy for a new Energy Business driving incremental annual revenue which received board approval for adoption.

3.

Critical analysis of an opposition expert witness report. Provision of a detailed independent expert report covering policy, compliance, operational, technical and regulatory subjects. Used in the high court for a successfully concluded multi $billion lawsuit.

Multi million pound systems migration – developed and executed plans for all aspects of Billing, Revenue Assurance and Finance as part of a Billing and CRM transformation programme.

Simplification of a client’s customer project delivery practice and processes to improve delivery margins and overall customer Net Promotor Scores (NPS).

Bringing together the Billing, Collections and Revenue Assurance functions under a newly formed operation, creating an agile organisation with established career paths, leaned processes, improved performance and delivering increased business value.

Innovation

“unravelling the complicated”
We look for creative solutions to address business challenges, sometimes thinking completely out of the box, sometimes simply doing the basics differently, Examples of our work in this area are:

1.

Challenge: Our client was unable to predict their future debt position or accurately determine required resources to manage an increasing debt book. We delivered a Python based SaaS forecasting solution which provided accurate debt forecasts based upon historic data along with key assumptions and to adjust the assumptions to see how the forecast could be improved allowing for increased productivity.

2.

Challenge: This client had multiple standalone billing systems and an inability to see all accounts and debt associated with a customer. We developed a single screen solution bringing all accounts and billing information together and provided functionality to manage debt queries, adjust balances, set up payment plans and notate the accounts.

3.

Challenge: To determine how to deliver affordable, renewable, clean electricity to over 8 million people in rural Rwanda. We designed an innovative payg container based distributed energy system along with a business strategy and operating model.

Growth

"a clear path to an end goal"

Collaborate with clients to find opportunities to deliver sustainable growth, through new revenue streams or by protecting and maximising those that currently exist.  Examples of these are;

1.

Identification of a new consulting opportunity and authored a business case which secured board approval to setup and lead a new revenue management practice generating several £million of new business within the first 12 months

2.

A third party supplier delivering business critical services to our client was in financial distress and looking to sell their business. Following due diligence we created a compelling business case and board recommendation for the client to acquire the business. Board approval was granted and the client achieved a ROI after just 3 months.

3.

As part of an ongoing business effort to minimise Revenue loss and improve margin a client engaged with us to perform a Risk / Reward reconciliation activity across their systems, suppliers and services to identify recoverable billable revenue. We identified in excess of $13m cost saving opportunity and approx. £1m in unbilled revenue.
